UPDATED: My UFC 106 Poster Design

Since I’ve been doing alternate versions of some earlier designs, I thought my previous UFC 106 poster would be a good candidate for a makeover.  This latest design certainly has a unique look and feel, and an almost european political overtone to it.  I’m not really sure if it works for this fight or not, but it’s really more about the practice and I think it’s another original piece to use for the portfolio.

Obviously this is not the official poster for the UFC.  But it is a design concept worth exploring and something to help keep me sharp, to keep developing my skills with.  I’m not really sure what I’m going to try next but I have had some requests to do some wallpapers.  Maybe some wallpapers that look like event posters?  I think the loyal Bleeders here might dig that.

Let me know what you guys think.  And if you have any design requests or ideas, I would love to hear them.  Would you really like some poster-like wallpapers?  Would you like to see designs for smaller events or some of the Japanese shows?
